There comes a time when someone in your family passes, or you have just accumulated far too much. I know it all too well, my parents were married for 65 years continuously collecting throughout their lifetimes.
The recent social hoarding trend finds families feeling overwhelmed and hence unable to handle an estate sale of a new type.
Trash to Treasure contracts have included these types of sales. We will hold your loved ones sale and leave an organized environment.
After a long day, it can be emotionally difficult on you, reliving the memories,and then cleaning, sorting, researching values, organize the items and finally marketing and conducting the sale.
We take the physical work and emotional stress out of preparing for and conducting the sale.
We do everything from start to finish!
A business person since 1983, my business experience includes conducting estate sales in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I possess extensive knowledge of antiques,collectibles,primitives,and equally important reproductions. I retired back in San Antonio where I was born and raised. I do not own or manage a shop.
Our focus is on your interests and items, which means I do not bring in my merchandise to make it look full.
I do not buy the remaining items.. At the end of the sale, everything is donated to either our recommended charities or one of your choice . All my staff is knowledgeable in antiques, sales and fluent in spanish.
Our charge is straight up. It includes a set up fee of.
- a $150.00 for a three day sale, and
- a 30% commission of the total sale.
- For a negotiated additional fee we will travel out of the San Antonio area
- If this is not for you for a fee we can total set it up,and guide you through it and you run the sale.
This fee includes:
- cleaning, sorting and pricing individual items, and preparing the home.
- staffing of the sale, and
- conducting it from start to finish.
We keep our prices fair, which means our work is focused on your financial interest

Meeting with you and discussing your expectation and the value of your items,
Scheduling a date which works for you.
Coming to your house and begin setting up for the sale and
Pricing items and if needed researching individual items.
The sale is held Friday through Sunday from 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. On Sunday a 50% discount is applied to remaining items. At the end of the sale we will meet with you about donating the items or discussing other options such as a consignment shop.
In some instances and based on the size and volume of items we can conduct a Garage Sale or Downsizing.
At a minimum, our security includes surveillance cameras throughout the house.

Our publicity includes
- Posting signs throughout the neighborhood.
- E-mailing our extensive mailing list and
I will utilize my 30 years experience to provide every opportunity that you get the most money for your items. Our staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I am always on site.
I do not "bring in" additional items, I do not own a shop nor will I buy you out:. Remaining items are donated to the charity of your choice.
For a fee I will conduct appraisals. Security is provided and we utilize recording surveillance cameras or when necessary a security guard.
